I had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin in the middle of nowhere. It was a welcome change from staying in a hotel room. the cabin was spotless, well-refinished, and had a lovely homey feel to it. the staff was amazing and very helpful whenever I had questions. I especially appreciated that they allowed my dog to stay with me. the location was perfect for enjoying nature and outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, hiking, and photography. I woke up to a beautiful view of the mountains and even got to watch a group of deer in the field from the front porch. It was a serene and relaxing experience. Cons: Nothing, everything was great! 😊.

This hidden gem is a piece of paradise! The staff made us feel welcome and were incredibly friendly. The cabins were spacious and clean, equipped with everything we needed. We were thrilled to see a moose, as suggested by the locals. The location is perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature. The beds were comfortable, and the housekeeping was excellent, ensuring a pristine stay.
The check-in process was a bit impersonal, with just an envelope and sign-in sheet.

The cabin had excellent accessibility features, making it convenient after a tiring day of hiking. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the hot water in the shower was fantastic. The well-maintained grounds were easily accessible from the highway, with ample parking for larger vehicles.

Small bed, uncomfortable mattress.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, suggesting great hiking spots and even giving us a personal tour of the nearby train and automobile museums. The lodge offered a variety of activities like a fire pit, lawn games, indoor games, a piano, and a pool table, which made for great family fun. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view from the deck. The well-maintained grounds and easy access from the highway were also major pluses.
The only downside was that the lodge's amenities, such as breakfast and the pool, were unavailable during our stay. Additionally, the location on Route 201 meant there were frequent logging trucks passing by, which could be a nuisance if you're not used to the noise.
